About Us
New Orleans Style Courtyard in North Louisiana!
We are the only event space in North Louisiana that offers a New Orleans style outdoor courtyard joined to two 1920's authentic brick warehouses. Our historic bridal suite and vintage grooms lounge along with many set-up options make this space perfect for your wedding or event.
The Courtyard is a joyful, fun space that is NOT your typical event outdoor area. It is literally an organic natural space adorned with a timeless aesthetic garden snuggled between brick buildings. Your event can rely on the beauty within for decor or you can get creative and quirky and glam it up to meet your style. Anyway you want to go with it, we are your affordable wedding venue.
Our 2 indoor spaces are un-curated and simple and even though the spaces are 100+ years old, they are timeless- you can go gothic or eclectic and it will work perfectly!
Although we host a lot of wedding events, we also have rental options for baby showers, wedding showers, family reunions, birthday parties and company parties. We offer discounted rates for weekday rentals.
Where we started
We are Kerry and Anne Easley and we fell in love with this 100+ year old brick building in downtown Minden, Louisiana. In 2014, we bought the building along with an empty lot next to it and soon had a vision for The Courtyard.
After a few years of hard work, we turned it into the place you see today. It is our goal to provide an original, un-filtered, budget-friendly option to make your dreams come true!
We own and operate this venue so can guarantee you will get the attention you need to make your event perfect in our dream wedding venue!
A Family Business
Kerry and I have triplet daughters, Jess, Layla & Roxy who help us with our business. We love the outdoors and we do all the gardening and upkeep of The Courtyard ourselves. We are a pet friendly facility and occasionally bring our dogs, Frank and Big Mike to hang out with us. (Merlin, the cat, stays home!) Your fur-babies are also welcome anytime! With our venue near Shreveport, LA, your family can easily come and enjoy your wedding at The Courtyard.
